Like our body craves for food when we have not eaten, our lives hunger for something beyond the great job we have or all the stuff around us. |
Our bodies tell us when we need to eat with a physical hunger. Our souls tell us we need something beyond all we can see, touch, taste or hold. Our spiritual cravings reveal a need for a relationship that is beyond anything material or physical.
Even if we attempt to deny all that has been written or proclaimed for thousands of years, our inner lives leave us longing to know God.
However, humans are naturally separated from Him by sin. Many attempt to reach God by their own efforts, but find themselves frustrated and fearful.
The Good News is that God has made it possible for us to know Him and the forgiveness we need to have a relationship with Him.
Jesus died on the cross to satisfy God's anger toward our sin. By trusting in Him, we can experience the forgiveness of our sin and enjoy a new relationship with Him.
