Favorite Movie and Why: To Kill a Mockingbird, because I don’t like too many old movies but this one I’ve always liked. It would seem like it would be a “simpler time” but the movie shows how complex things can become when we are scared of the unknown and the fear is turned into racism, prejudice, lying, and murder. Addicus, the father, is such a wise man. He teaches his kids how to look beyond the unfairness and see the facts. How you can live “free” when you see beyond emotions and deal in truths. I think it just amazes me because I’m not there yet. I know he’s not real but I look up to his character.
Favorite Food: Sausage, mushroom and black olive pizza.
Favorite Flavor of Ice Cream: Snickers ice cream.
Book (other than the Bible) that has impacted your life: Recently read " The Shack " and loved it.
Life Verse: don’t have one.
Three songs on my iPod: Van Morrison’s - Mystic, anything from Jennifer Knapp, and Israel Kamakawiwo’s - Somewhere Over the Rainbow.
Dream Vacation Spot: Beach house on Martha’s Vineyard.
