At CrossPointe Church, we believe that the Word of God is essential to our faith. As a community of believers, we are grounded in the teachings of Jesus Christ and strive to follow His example in all that we do. Our pastors are an integral part of this mission, serving as faithful shepherds to guide and inspire our congregation.  

​As it says in 1 Timothy 3:1, "If anyone aspires to the office of overseer, he desires a noble task." We are grateful for the noble task that our pastors have taken on and are excited to introduce them to you.​

Julio Hernandez
​Discipleship Pastor

Julio was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. He spent many years of his life without Christ, never establishing a relationship with him or even understanding how to have faith.  

That was until he moved to Arizona and was saved at 23. Christ met him when it was His time, and Julio's life has forever changed.

"I now understand why I faced the trials and challenges in my life. God had a plan and will use it to his glory. He has shed light on my life challenges and trials. He has used me to impact many people who think there is no other way or that hope does not exist. God revealed to me that only through Jesus can we receive hope and the gift of salvation."

Terrance Ellman
​Lead Pastor

Terrance began attending CrossPointe Church in the Spring of 2010. He served in several capacities, including Small Group Leader and Sports Ministry Coordinator. He has also served on the CrossPointe Leadership Team since 2012. In 2014, he was called to Gateway Seminary for post-graduate education. Terrance was ordained as an Elder of CrossPointe Church in 2018 and graduated with a Master of Theological Studies in 2020.

Elias Hernandez
​Worship Pastor

Elias's journey as a worship leader is a testament to the transformative power of faith. From his humble leadership beginnings at 18, Elias's passion for God and leading others has only grown stronger with time. His unwavering commitment to the Lord and his calling is an inspiration to all who know him. May we all be encouraged to follow our calling with the same tenacity and dedication that Elias has shown throughout his journey.

Today, Elias has been called to lead others as a pastor of CrossPointe Church. It's incredible to see how God has been faithful to him and has used him to impact so many lives. Elias's leadership has been a blessing to our community, and it is evident that he is following God's calling in his life. May God continue to bless him as he leads others in worship and their walk with Christ.
